Storyline
Having been swept away by a powerful cyclone, Grimin the chameleon arrives at the Canadian border. Suddenly uprooted and far from family, he finds himself without reference points and is faced with a host of new feelings and challenges.
The audience in the room becomes a witness to Grimin’s first interactions in his new host country. How will the audience react to this story? Will they open a door or put up a wall?
This interactive fable, a powerful metaphor for reality, opens up dialogue about the social and personal issues that newcomers face, and our ability to welcome them.
We thank the Art Council of Canada, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and the city of Longueuil as part of a partnership agreement as well as the Art Council of Longueuil for the financial support received at different stages of this project.
